High quality Stone work and patios start with proper preparation of the ground below and or behind the stones.   Like any building project, they need to start with a solid base so that stones will not move over time.   With Bates Contracting’s knowledge of building, excavation and drainage we will provide the proper base and grading around all of our stonework.

We offer many landscaping services and finishing touches to your new home or existing.  We can make an old driveway like new with a topcoat of pea stone; we will reclaim over-grown land, seed lawns, ponds, and design and build elegant stonework and patios.  With a wide array of mini excavators, skid steers and power tools, Bates Contracting will have the right equipment and tools to complete any project.

A project that requires any sort of excavation or site work needs landscaping at the end to restore the area too its original condition.   Bates Contracting is one of the few excavation company in the area that will take the time and care to restore all of the disturbed areas, so once the grass grow its look the same as it was before the project started, or better depending on the home owner preferences.
